A new diterpenoid, 12beta,13alpha-dihydroxytriptonide, was obtained from the transformed culture of triptonide by Catharanthus roseus cell suspension cultures. The complete H-1 and C-13 NMR assignments of the compound were carried out by using DEPT, COSY, HSQC, g-HMBC and NOESY techniques. Copyright (C) 2003 John Wiley Sons, Ltd.
