Three new phenolic glycosides, clemomandshuricosides A-C (1-3, resp.) and two new D-ribono-gamma-lactone derivatives, 4 and 5, were isolated from the roots and rhizomes of Clematis mandshurica RUPR., together with six known compounds. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of chemical, physicochemical. and spectroscopic evidence.
